Have you heard about the national Big Pharma settlements that provide funding for Opioid Remediation programs?
The Outer Cape towns have been partnering since 2023 to use these funds in order to expand resources across Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro, and Provincetown. But there’s more funding heading our way and we need your help!
If you cannot complete the ONLINE survey, you can receive a paper copy OR complete the survey over the phone by either contacting your town health department OR calling 508-418-9070.
This is an ANONYMOUS survey for anyone impacted by or concerned about opioid use on the Outer Cape (Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro, Provincetown).
All questions are OPTIONAL; answer as many as you’d like!
There is a space at the bottom to give additional feedback.
About these funds:
The MA Attorney General has reached multi-billion dollar resolutions with opioid producers and distributors that aim to address the opioid crisis by providing funds for:
- Prevention
- Treatment
- Harm Reduction and
- Recovery
The Outer Cape towns – along with other municipalities – will receive a small percentage of funds from these settlements over the next nearly two decades. They have currently agreed to regionalize spending for FY24 and FY25 and are now seeking your input to allocate these funds in an effective, equitable, and thoughtful manner.
This survey will be available until February 2025.
