Grief 101 with Sharing Kindness at the Eastham Library

On Thursday, March 6th at 2 pm the Eastham Public Library and Sharing Kindness will host a “Grief 101” presentation to help community members better understand grief and how to cope with it.
From Sharing Kindness: “Grief is a natural response to loss. Yet many bereaved people report feeling misunderstood and abandoned by their friends and communities due to a lack of education about the needs of the grieving. We’re starting the conversation with Grief 101, a presentation at local libraries that covers “the basics” of grief: what it is, how it impacts our brains, and how we can support people in our lives who are going through it.”
Take a look at some grief support resources on the Sharing Kindness website. A Child’s Grief Book Pack will also be gifted to the Eastham Public library, which will be available for parents and caregivers to check out.
