DESCRIPTION:Acudetox & Meditation Flyer \nHelping Our Women (HOW) is offering a FREE\, evidence-based\, outer ear acupuncture treatment called Acudetox\, known to reduce anxiety\, stress\, depression\, PTSD\, and support recovery from substance use. It provides a calming effect and promotes mental wellness in a supportive group setting. Offered by licensed practitioner Heather Louks\, this treatment will leave you at ease and relaxed! This service is weekly\, year-round\, and available at HOW’s Ann Maguire Women’s Wellness Center in Eastham in a community\, group format. SUMMARY:Chronic Pain Group
DESCRIPTION:Registered Nurse\, Leah Puffer offers a FREE\, 8-week Chronic Pain Group using Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT). PRT is an evidenced based therapy for chronic pain that focuses on education\, balancing the nervous system\, and somatic exercises. The group will meet once weekly in person (virtual if needed) for 8 weeks. Each session will include education\, discussion\, and practice. Weekly topics include: pain science\, neuroplastic pain\, somatic tracking\, processing\, danger signals\, preoccupation & negative behavior patterns\, self-compassion and relapse prevention.  This group starts Monday September 22nd\, 2025 at the Wellfleet Adult Community Center and meets weekly on Mondays from 6 – 7pm for 8 weeks. \n  \nThis program is funded by the Opioid Remediation Settlement Funds. DESCRIPTION:Second Act\, WHAT – \nThe Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theatre is offering two six-week sessions where participants will share their recovery journeys in a group setting while working with professional theater artists to develop their voices as storytellers and devise original work drawn from lived experience. Combining motivational interviewing\, theater games\, improvisation exercises\, and guided discussion on recovery\, participants will explore new ways to express themselves\, develop confidence as storytellers\, and take pride in their recovery journeys. Session 1 starts Tuesday\, September 16\, 2025 and runs weekly on Tuesdays from 4-6pm until Nov 18\, 2025.
